Emma brought her tuba…and flowers!
As you may know, I love a sesssion with PROPS. A giant tuba with cute little Emma was perfect!
We started with flowers and a farm-house feel at a location near Southeast Polk High School. I always check the weather before a session. In this case, there was a “wind warning!?” How bad can that be? I figured as long as there was no rain, we’d be good…it was however, super gusty! I’ve never had so much wind in a session. But Emma powered through, and you can’t tell in the photos, so all is good!
The second part of her session took place a bit later (she cut her hair!). We headed to downtown Des Moines for urban + bridges etc. There are so many great spots in Court Avenue, and I love the red bridge. Yay!
