Waterworks Park Offers Endless Variety for Stunning Senior Sessions.
Just a few minutes away from the bustle of Court Avenue in downtown Des Moines, Waterworks Park is one of my “go-to” locations. The secluded spot is perfect for everything from twirling in a flowy dress, to posing with a french horn. It has a variety of great options for your senior session, including the amazing iron bridge on the walking/bike path.
You can sit by the river, bike down a path, or pose with your flugelhorn. Regardless of your passions, this park will provide the perfect canvas for timeless senior pictures.
Vivi’s Session included the bridge, nature areas, and golden hour photos.
Yandel’s Session was in early fall when the leaves were starting to change, giving us a great mix of green with the start of fall yellows.
The fountain at the park’s entrance is surrounded by vibrant seasonal flowers—from spring to late summer, it’s a picture-perfect spot to add a pop of color to your senior photos!
Golden hour lighting through the trees makes the perfect backdrop to any session. The seasonal flowers by fountain near the entrance get darker in the fall, matching the rich earthtones of the season.
