If you’ve spent countless hours on stage, in rehearsal, or in the band and orchestra rooms, the West Des Moines Valley High School Staplin Performing Arts Center (PAC) could be a natural fit for your senior pictures. With dramatic lighting, clean architectural lines, and performance-focused spaces, this location provides a polished backdrop for students involved in choir, theater, or band and orchestra.
Whether you’re in choir, the school musical, or play instrument, your time in the performing arts deserves to be celebrated. The Staplin PAC allows you to bring instruments, costumes, or simply your confidence into a space that feels like home. We’ll use the auditorium seating, stage lights, side wings, and even backstage areas to create a variety of creative looks.
It’s one of my favorite places to include in a session.
Archer: Voice + Saxophone
Archer’s senior pictures at the PAC showcase the central role music has played in his high-school years. Active in pretty much every every singing genre possible, he’s performed it all! And he also plays the sax – so much fun to capture!
Michael: Trombones
Michael’s senior pictures at the PAC showcase how imporant music has been in his high-school years. From concert ensembles to jazz and show band, he’s performed it all. What better place that the PAC to capture his experiences!
Shanel: Vocalist + Guitarist
Shanel’s senior portraits at the Staplin Performing Arts Center (PAC) reflect her passion for the performing arts. In addition to show choir, jazz choir, and concert choir, she participated in musicals and plays throughout high school. Her session featured both vocal and instrumental moments on stage—highlighting her talent and experience.
Nathanael: Trumpets and Fluggle Horn
Nathanael’s PAC senior pictures highlight his skills on two trumpets, and Fluggle horn. With bold posing and musical props, his portraits celebrate his dedication to band and performance.

Simon’s senior session at the Staplin Performing Arts Center highlight his dedication to instrumental music. Featuring his trumpet, mellophone, and French horn, the session used dramatic lighting and clean composition to showcase his skill, confidence, and connection to the performing arts.
Senior pictures should celebrate individuality, and sessions at the Staplin Performing Arts Center do just that.
